Bessimir was a planet in the Galactic Core, 15 parsecs from Coruscant. Two natural satellites orbited Bessimir.

HistoryEdit

It was the site of Operation Hammerblow, the New Republic Fifth Battle Group's final training mission. It is unclear if Bessimir was always a heavily defended world, or if the defenses used against the Fifth Battle Group were installed specifically for their training mission.
