Binalu served as ruler of Typha-Dor beside Talus in the years leading up to the Clone Wars. Before the Battle of Geonosis, Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker were asked to mediate a ceasefire between Typha-Dor and their neighboring planet, Vanqor.
