The biorestorative underlay was an armor enhancement that hastened the healing processes of the wearer during combat. The Mark I, II, III, IV, and V versions in turn allowed for a considerable increase in the speed in which the body healed itself. Furthermore, the Mark IV and V versions boosted the body's resiliency to damage.
