Black 2 was the designation of the TIE fighter flown by DS-61-2 at the Battle of Yavin. It was part of Black Squadron. It had twenty-seven flame emblems on the cockpit: one for each Rebel kill. It was destroyed, after ramming Darth Vader's fighter, when it crashed into the Death Star I's trench wall.
