Yaam Sector or Sector 1Y4F lower regions known as the Blackpit Slums^[1] was a district on Coruscant during the early years of the Galactic Empire.

It covered an area of nearly eighty square kilometers and was located several thousand kilometers from the Southern Underground, the Jedi Temple and Coruscant's equator.^[2] 8,675 Human males lived in the Yaam Sector, one of them being the Jedi Knight Jax Pavan.^[3]
