Blackthorne Publishing was a small, independent comic book publishing house known for producing comics based upon famous licensed properties such as Robotech, Transformers and G.I. Joe. Blackthorne has produced three Star Wars 3-D comic books, with a fourth and a fifth planned and started, but ultimately canceled. One of the canceled issues was going to be about the "Spies of Botha". To date, this is the only Star Wars related material to be rendered in 3-D.
