By 13 ABY, the Blade-28 was somewhat outdated, being outperformed in nearly every way by the newer Blade-32 superiority fighter. Nevertheless, a large numbers of Blade-28s were still in use, especially by the nations opposing Cartann and by retired pilots who kept the fighters for their personal use. The most famous Blade-28 was the Golden Yoke, the personal fighter of Perator Pekaelic ke Teldan of Cartann.
