A blaze-cutlass was a type of cutlass favored by pirates.[1][2]
Comparable in power to a vibrosword or force pike, the blaze-cutlass was an uncommon weapon that dealt both physical and energy damage.[2] Notably used by the famous pirate Celis Mott,[2] a Wookiee member of the Nanth'ri Pirates wielded one as well.[1]

The statistics for the blaze-cutlass in Otherspace show no STR modifier (4D+1) alluding to it be at least partially an energy weapon; likewise, in Instant Adventures, the stats show it to be primarily a STR based weapon with an energy component (STR+2D). The exact specifics of the weapon, aside from it being a sword, are unknown.
