The Bloodfiend was a monstrous Sithspawn that resided in the Sith Academy of Korriban. It was similar in shape to a huge, blood red k'lor'slug. When an acolyte took the Rite of blood and bone, he or she had to confront and defeat the Bloodfiend. The initiation rite had been perpetrated at the Academy for millennia. Millennia later, "Bloodfiend" was also used as the nickname of a certain Imperial Inquisitor, Probus Tesla.
