In 1 BBY, Rebel agent Kyle Katarn met his old Imperial Academy roommate, Meck Odom, in the Blue Moon. Katarn needed Odom's assistance to gain access into the Imperial research facility in Trid. Prior to their exclusive contract with Jabba the Hutt, the Max Rebo Band played the Blue Moon at the time of Katarns and Odom's fateful meeting.
