Blue Squadron was the name of a Jedi starfighter squadron in operation prior to and during the Clone Wars. The pilots of Blue Squadron flew Z-95 Headhunters and Delta-7 Aethersprite Interceptors, as well as other craft developed later during the Clone Wars.

Blue Squadron was sent into battle during the Stark Hyperspace War, and was led alongside Red Squadron by Saesee Tiin. At this period in time, the Jedi flew early versions of the Jedi starfighter, likely predecessors to the Delta-6 Starfighter. Though outnumbered, Red and Blue Squadrons defeated Iaco Stark's fleet through skill and sheer force at the Fifth Battle of Qotile.

During the Battle of Kamino, Blue Squadron was commanded by Obi-Wan Kenobi, with Anakin Skywalker as his wingman. The squadron launched an assault against incoming Trade Federation landing ships, though General Kenobi was shot down above the ocean during his attack run. Skywalker's starfighter was damaged while Anakin attempted to rescue his Master, though the two Jedi returned to Tipoca City to battle the invasion forces on foot.

In the second year of the Clone Wars, command of Blue Squadron had been handed over to Jedi Master Adi Gallia, while Generals Kenobi and Skywalker went on to lead Red Squadron in the Open Circle Fleet. Gallia's fighters, a mix of Delta-7s and V-19 Torrent starfighters, defended Bail Organa's transport from pirates above Coruscant.
