Blue Three was the callsign of the third member of Blue Squadron. There were a number of starfighter squadrons with this name, and several beings went by the name Blue Three.
History
Blue Three was the callsign of the Rebel Alliance's "Rookie One" when he flew with Blue Squadron. The callsign was also used by an Imperial TIE pilot whose TIE/sa Bomber was shot down in the subjugation of Jabiim. During the evacuation of Hoth, Will Scotian flew as Blue Three.

Blue Three is the call-sign given to Biggs Darklighter in the novelization of A New Hope.
