- "We lost Sten, Deadeye, Blunt, and Jark."
- ―Captain Sharp, after the battle against Ventress
Blunt was a clone cold assault trooper who served in the Galactic Republic's Grand Army during the Clone Wars.
Biography[]
"Blunt" was the nickname of one of the numerous clones of Jango Fett that were created to serve the Grand Army of the Republic during Clone Wars. During the war, Blunt served under the command of Captain Sharp in the Devil Dogs, a unit of clone troopers within the 44th Special Operations Division that specialized in "explosive" missions.[3]
In 22 BBY, during the engagement against the Separatist forces on the planet of Khorm for control over the valuable agrocite ore, Blunt was killed after his unit and Jedi Masters Plo Koon and Kit Fisto were ambushed by Asajj Ventress and her BX-series droid commandos.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Blunt was created by Henry Gilroy and Steven Melching for the second issue of the In Service of the Republic story arc of the Star Wars The Clone Wars comic series. He was drawn in the issue by Scott Hepburn.

- ↑ The Essential Reader's Companion dates the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film to 22 BBY, while The Official Star Wars Fact File Part 8 (22 BBY 101–102, Spying for the Senate) dates "Senate Spy" to late 22 BBY. Since Star Wars: The Clone Wars Chronological Episode Order on StarWars.com (backup link) places "Holocron Heist" between The Clone Wars film and "Senate Spy," it can be concluded that "Holocron Heist" also takes place in 22 BBY. Furthermore, since Star Wars: The Clone Wars: In Service of the Republic takes place shortly prior to "Holocron Heist," In Service of the Republic can also be dated to 22 BBY.
