Bondo was the leader of the Travelling Jindas, a nomadic tribe of Jindas on the Forest Moon of Endor. The overweight Jinda wore a red tunic and much jewelry. Bondo was a jovial leader, although he frequently got his tribe lost in the forests of Endor.

Bondo was voiced by Don McManus. Kenner planned a Bondo action figure as part of its Star Wars: Ewoks toy line, but the toy never got beyond the prototype stage.
