Bongo Light Scouts were variants of the Tribubble bongo and were used as submersible light frigates by the Gungans. They were armed with one booma launcher. They were first used around 3,000 BBY during the War of the Gungan tribes and cost 90 units of carbon and 20 units of nova crystals. These frigates were constructed at shipyards by the Bongomeken Collective. They were upgradeable to Bongo Scouts.

Behind the scenes
Edit
Bongo Light Scouts appear in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds and its 2002 expansion pack. They are the Gungan light frigate units, and a picture of one was used to represent the game's "light frigate" unit in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Prima's Official Strategy Guide.
