Boranian

Boranians were a race of green-skinned humanoids was indigenous to the planet Shadda-Bi-Boran. They died out in 38 BBY, due to the explosion of their homeworld's star. Padmé Amidala visited their planet as part of a relief group to evacuate them, but the evacuation failed: they couldn't adapt to other planets. It is thus quite sure that they became extinct. N'a-kee-tula, whom Padmé befriended, was a member of this species.

While this species is canon, its name has not yet been revealed, only the name of its homeworld. Also, in the cut scene in Episode II, Amidala doesn't state clearly if only the children died after evacuation (she is speaking about the children who she was working with, then she tells Anakin that they all died).
