Borna Lys was a female Twi'lek who lived on Nar Shaddaa some five years after the Jedi Civil War; she was met by the Jedi Exile when the former Jedi General was traveling on the Smugglers' Moon. A swoop racing enthusiast, she sought to thwart the current champion. With the help of the Exile she was able to take the lead of the swoop business, left to her by Lupo Shar after the self-destruction of C9-T9.
