Borstel Galactic Defense was a corporation that produced a variety of shipboard ion and laser weaponry, and personal shield generators as well as various missile systems. Borstel was the company that produced the RG-9 model laser cannons for Rebel Alliance's RZ-1 A-wing interceptors and RH8 laser cannons that were the primary anti-starfighter weaponry onboard Nebulon-B frigates.
