Bow was a stormtrooper commander who saved Darth Vader from a meeting of Jedi Knights on Kessel.[3] Bow became the commanding officer of Vader's 501st Legion following the death of Commander Appo on Kashyyyk in 18 BBY. He was considered a smart leader.[2]

The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia retconed Bow as the clone commander leading the stormtroopers during the Conclave on Kessel in Star Wars: Purge.
Hasbro released a 3.75 inch action figure of Bow with Darth Vader in a two pack with macrobinoculars and a DC-15A blaster rifle. It was a Target exclusive. Bow's armor also includes a kama.
