When Brejik went into combat, he wore an arm band at all times. When the band was used in conjunction with his belt, it created an effective barrier against melee attacks. Revan may have scavenged the arm band from Brejik's corpse after a fierce lightfight with the Black Vulkars against Revan and Bastila Shan.
