Bright Seeker was a modified mining survey ship which was designed to survey systems for mineral and ore deposits. It had excellent sensors and a powerful laser for boring into asteroids and taking samples. Bright Seeker was commanded by the minor noble, Captain Nils Wender of House Calipsa.
