The Brilliant was a Nebula-class Star Destroyer of the New Republic Defense Fleet.

HistoryEdit

Assigned to the New Republic Second Battle Group in 16 ABY, the Brilliant was tasked with close planetary patrol of Coruscant.

When the Aramadia attempted to make an unauthorized departure and damaged its surrounding ships, the Brilliant was sent to shadow the vessel under the command of Admiral Ackbar. It was called off by Chief of State Leia Organa Solo after Nil Spaar broadcasted that she desired to declare herself Empress and was violating his diplomatic rights.
