It was where the Azzameen family rendezvoused with Rebel pilot Olin Garn before moving on to supply a secret nearby hospital treating wounded personnel from the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY.

The communications operator on hand during the rendezvous was aware of the meeting; it was likely that Brint-wo had Alliance sympathies.
