Brolis was one of the military advisers (possibly a Cuy'val Dar) who had been hired by the Kaminoans to train clone troopers on Kamino. After the start of the Clone Wars he served in the GAR as a commander, and was one of the few survivors in the disastrous Battle of Axion.
