Biology and appearanceEdit

The sentient species' anatomy included a head and a torso. One member of the species had blue skin, white eyes on the top of his head, and horny spines on the back of his face. His nostrils were located in between his eyes, and were on top of a beaklike nose which included an opening for the mouth. His head was flatter than it was tall, and went into concentric semi-circles in the back.[1]

Society and cultureEdit

At least one member of the species wore a robe as their article of clothing.[1][2]

HistoryEdit

Bron Burs was a male individual of this species hailing from the southern part of the planet Nentan. During the Galactic Civil War, Burs was a commando[2] in the Alliance to Restore the Republic,[3] though he eventually left the profession. A crack shot who liked to be on his own, Burs was an on-and-off partner of Debnoli,[2] an expert marksman.[4]

Behind the scenesEdit

The origins of this species date back to the production stages of 1983's Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi film. A number of alien maquettes were designed for the scenes taking place in Jabba the Hutt's palace. Among the ones scrapped before the film's release was a maquette described as "a possible elephant/ rhino head."[1] In 1998, the Star Wars Customizable Card Game's "Special Edition Limited" set released the "Bron Burs" card, which depicted a manipulated image of the maquette.[2]
