Brookish Boon was a male Sy Myrthian political commentator and com-host who hosted a rival show to Amberdawn during the Clone Wars. While criticizing the corrupt Galactic Republic government, Boon enjoyed luxury financed from his own corruption, including taking bribes.

In 19 BBY, Boon attended the Galaxies Opera House performance of Squid Lake. A secret recording device was hidden beneath his mantilla, though exactly what he intended to do with the device is unknown.
