Bruce Boa (July 10, 1930–April 17, 2004) was a Canadian actor known for his performances in British films and television series, especially as a Colonel in one of the more memorable scenes of Full Metal Jacket. He also appeared in a number of films, commonly in the role of a military officer or government official, such as his performance of General Carlist Rieekan in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. He died in England in 2004 from cancer.
