Bruce Mercy was a near-Human male space pirate from a high-gravity world, who was associated with three other pirates: Morph, Durquist, and Ptak-Sok. Mercy's ship, the Black Widow acted as their command ship. The pirates attempted to steal the location of the Fool's Gold from Plako, but a group of free-lance adventurers beat them to the legendary ship.
