Brunok was an Imperial worker who was part of a construction crew on the Imperial superweapon known as the Tarkin.

While on the planet Hockaleg, he and another crew member were subdued by the Rebels Leia Organa, Chewbacca, and Luke Skywalker. The Rebels took the Imperials' uniforms so they could infiltrate the Tarkin as part of a construction crew.
