Burro Flats was a philologist of the Baobab Archives on Manda. Through his interaction with the Gungans of Naboo, Flats was able to create a limited dictionary of Gunganese and Old Gungan terms.
In addition to the dictionary, Flats was also known for his Rolling Moisture Cell, an application of the Gungan hydrostatic field used to transport water in dry environments. It was especially popular on Tatooine.
