History
Edit
Following his resignation from the Jedi Order, the Bust of Count Dooku was commissioned to commemorate him in the Jedi Temple. It was viewed by Obi-Wan Kenobi, when he visited the Jedi Archives in 22 BBY.
In about 1 ABY, an unknown spacer obtained a similar-looking bust, although it is unknown if it was the same one.
Behind the scenes
Edit
The bust made its first appearance with a momentary appearance in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones in 2002. It was originally set to make a longer appearance in the film, with Jocasta Nu and Obi-Wan Kenobi standing next to it as Nu explained to him about Dooku and the Lost Twenty, although this explanation was omitted from the final cut.
In 2008, the bust featured in Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game: Champions of the Force as a special "loot card". This could be redeemed for a copy of the bust in the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies, which could be placed in player houses.
