- ―Buzz
"Buzz" was the nickname of a clone trooper during the Clone Wars. He served in the Second Battle of Geonosis under the command of Jedi General Luminara Unduli. He and Unduli later searched for the escaped Archduke Poggle the Lesser. Unduli contacted Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ki-Adi Mundi, but after Buzz moved the cover of a hole leading down to the Geonosian catacombs, Unduli and Buzz were attacked by zombie Geonosians. Buzz was later found dead by clone trooper Commander CC-2224.

Biography
Edit
Like most other clone troopers, Buzz was born on the Wild Space planet of Kamino as a clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett.[1] He was part of the 41st Elite Corps and was under the command of Commander Gree and Jedi General Luminara Unduli during the Second Battle of Geonosis around 21 BBY. Buzz participated in the march on the Geonosis primary droid foundry to lure the droid forces from detecting Padawans Ahsoka Tano and Barriss Offee, who were secretly infiltrating the factory. After the Republic passed a tower, Geonosian warriors boxed the army in and although Buzz managed to shoot down a number of them with his Z-6 rotary blaster cannon, the new super tanks began destroying their artillery and tanks. Buzz, the rest of the 41st Elite Corps, Torrent Company, and the 212th Attack Battalion, began a retreat. Generals Skywalker and Luminara planted bombs underneath the bridge, destroying it and the super tanks. The factory was destroyed, and the following collapse of the droid facility caused the clone forces to retreat before the became consumed in the debris cloud.
Once the droid factory was destroyed, General Unduli and Buzz tracked Poggle the Lesser on two BARC speeder bikes. After discovering a munitions crate, the two of them traveled through a sandstorm to the Progate Temple. There Buzz found a cover leading to the underground catacombs. Both of them were attacked by undead Geonosians which resulted in the death of Buzz. Luminara was later saved.
Personality and traits
Edit
After spending enough time with Luminara Unduli, Buzz developed a sense of patience and loyalty to his commanding officer. He also had a sense of dry humor. He was also able to track the route Poggle was taking by examining a munitions container dropped by the Geonosian's guards.
Equipment
Edit
Buzz, like all clones at that period, utilized Phase I clone trooper armor. His armor had green markings and on his helmet there were small tick marks indicating how many enemies he disabled. During the march on the droid factory during the Second Battle of Geonosis, Buzz utilized a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon. After the factory was destroyed, Buzz used a standard DC-15S blaster. Buzz also could use a speeder bike to a useful degree, specifically a BARC speeder.
Behind the scenes
Edit
In the Trivia & Details section of the Weapons Factory Episode Guide, Draa is mistakenly credited with Buzz's "Buckle your belts..." line. Like every clone trooper in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Buzz was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.
