The Coruscant Security Force interceptor was an interceptor utilized by the Coruscant Security Force during the Galactic Republic, Galactic Empire, and New Republic.

HistoryEdit

The Coruscant Security Force utilized interceptors as early as the waning years of the Galactic Republic and into the Galactic Empire.^[1]

During the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Anti-Jedi sentiment reached such a peak in 26 ABY that it forced Chief of State Borsk Fey'lya to order the arrest of Luke and Mara Jade Skywalker. When they tried to flee Coruscant with the Jade Shadow, they were pursued by four CSF interceptors and fought a brief battle. However, no one was killed in the incident and the Jedi managed to escape with the intervention of Rogue Squadron.^[2]

During the Battle of Coruscant, the CSF interceptors along with their military counterparts in the Coruscant Planetary Defense Force were almost completely wiped out.^[3]
