CT-00-2010, nicknamed "Droidbait", was a clone trooper who served in the Clone Wars. While training as a Clone cadet, he earned the nickname "Droidbait" for his tendency to get shot first during practice. He would ultimately end up following Hevy during training exercises, despite the warnings of Echo. During the final exam, he was shot and split his shoulder. Echo was the only one to stop and help him. Once he was put in the medical bay on a gurney, the ArconanEl-Les tended to his wound. As he did so, Droidbait told him he felt like it was his fault his team failed, and that he felt like he was always acting like 'droid bait'. El-Les said that it was not his fault, and that Shaak Ti is letting him and the rest of his squad redo the final exam tomorrow. He and his fellow squad passed the cadet final exam on the third try by passing without their cables. Domino Squad shipped out a day later and was stationed on a remote listening post on the Rishi moon that warned Kamino of any attacks. When CT-327 was ambushed by BX-series droid commandos, SergeantO'Niner sent Droidbait and Nub to find him. Both were quickly taken by surprise and killed as well.
The code "DROIDBAIT" can be acquired at the end of the game "Clone sharpshooter" on StarWars.com if the player reaches a certain high score. If the player then enters the code in the game "LiveFire," which can also be played on starwars.com, the player becomes a commander, upgrading their blaster shot and grenade toss accuracy from 15 out of 100% to 80 out of 100%. The player will also be followed by four clone troopers in the game, who help the player but die much more easily. Droidbait received the clone designation number "CT-00-2010" in the Clone Cadet's accompanying episode guide on StarWars.com, which was published in September 2010. However, Droidbait later received the designation "CT-28-631" in the short novel Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Defenders of the Republic, released on October 7, 2010.
