The CT-11 space tug was a ubiquitous utility craft during the Galactic Civil War. It was manufactured by Phylon Freight.
[edit] Characteristics
The tug was 5 meters long. It used 2 tractor beam projectors to pull Xizor Cargo Containers. The tugs could also be used to carry pilots to starfighters in space. The space tug was extremely similar to Nicholas/Gordon Spacewerks' Utility Tug, although the NGS craft was almost twice the size.
[edit] Behind the scenes
While the tech room reveals different manufacturers, and a subtly different design between this craft and the Utility Tug, in the X-wing Collector's Edition the Utility Tug model is used to represent this craft. It is probable that the developers simply invented a new manufacturer for the same craft while the later games were in production.
