CT-12/12-0068, nicknamed "Twelve," was one of the numerous clones created from bounty hunter Jango Fett's DNA on the planet Kamino to serve in the Grand Army of the Republic. During the Clone Wars, Twelve served the Galactic Republic as a clone trooper major and led Hawkbat Battalion, a unit of 576 troops.^[1] Formed during the buildup to the Battle of Geonosis^[3] in 22 BBY,^[4] Hawkbat Battalion was one of the four battalions that made up the 101st Regiment, which fell under the 7th Legion, 327th Star Corps, 2nd Sector Army, and Systems Army Alpha.^[1]

In 2008, the clone trooper was mentioned in Hawkbat Battalion's entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia.
