CT-27-5555, nicknamed "Fives" for the last four numbers in his military serial number as well as the tattoo on his right temple, was a clone trooper who served during the Clone Wars. While he was still a "shinie", he got his first taste of real action in the Battle of the Rishi moon, where all but one of the clones he worked with were killed. Afterward, he was inducted into the 501st Legion.

Early in the Clone Wars, Fives was a "shinie", a brand new trooper, stationed on a remote listening post on the Rishi moon that warned Kamino of any attacks. He was in the control room when the BX-series droid commandos attacked the station.[1]
He, along with Hevy, Cutup, and Echo managed to escape the charging droids by crawling through a ventilation duct. He, along with the others, witnessed the death of Cutup when a giant eel attacked them. Afterward, Clone Commander Cody and Captain Rex arrived for an inspection. Fives shot a flare that alerted the arriving troopers of the BX-series droid commando's presence in the base. The landing party met up with the survivors and, together, they then came up with a plan to retake Rishi station. Fives was wounded in the firefight, but continued to serve in the battle.[1]
When Separatist reinforcements arrived, Fives and Captain Rex decided to create a massive detonator which would destroy the station, alerting the fleet that the Separatists were preparing their assault. Fives, Echo, Hevy, Rex, and Cody held the enemy reinforcements at bay until the explosives were ready. Wielding dual DC-15S blasters and throwing a thermal detonator at the oncoming assault, Fives helped his fellow clones hold the line. After Hevy sacrificed himself by blowing up the station manually, Commander Cody, Rex, Echo, and Fives were rescued from the moon by a pair of LAAT/i Gunships. Soon after, Echo and Fives were given awards for their efforts during the battle. Captain Rex also recommended the surviving two for positions in the 501st Legion, of which they took.[1]

Some time prior to the Battle of the Rishi moon, Fives got a tattoo of a "5" on his right temple.
