―CT-4/619 meets Boba Fett on Raxus Prime[src]

CT-4/619 was the designation of a clone trooper serving in the Galactic Republic's new clone army during the Clone Wars, a galaxy-wide conflict between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Shortly after the First Battle of Geonosis in 22 BBY, CT-4/619 participated in a campaign aimed at striking against Separatist activity on the planet Raxus Prime. Under the command of Bothan Jedi Master Glynn-Beti, CT-4/619 was part of a clone strike force that landed on the surface near to where the Separatist-aligned Sith Lord Count Dooku's headquarters were located. During the battle, CT-4/619 and a squad of clones encountered the young bounty hunter Boba Fett, who posed as the orphan Teff. Taking Fett with him, CT-4/619 brought Teff to the Acclamator-class assault ship Candaserri after the battle was finished in their area via a LAAT/i. Later, when the Candaserri transported the orphans it had picked up from other star systems to the gas giant Bespin, CT-4/619 worked on de-militarizing the hull of the lander that would take the orphans down from the ship.

Biography

"Impossible! There are no humanoid orphans on Raxus Prime, only Jawas. The planet is nothing but a toxic dump."
"Nevertheless, General Glynn-Beti, I rescued one and brought him into the gunship as per instructions."
―CT-4/619 informs the Jedi of the orphan Teff[src]

CT-4/619 was one of the many clones of the bounty hunter Jango Fett born on the planet Kamino[1] as a clone trooper[2] in the Galactic Republic's Grand Army, and he fought in the Clone Wars between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[1] CT-4/619 participated in the Battle of Raxus Prime in 22 BBY, after the Clone Wars opened on the barren surface of the planet Geonosis. Led by the Bothan Jedi Master Glynn-Beti, CT-4/619 and the rest of the task force under her command engaged the Sith Lord Count Dooku's battle droids[3] as the clones attempted to halt Dooku's mission to reconfigure the superweapon Dark Reaper.[4]. On the surface of Raxus Prime, CT-4/619 and a squad of troopers encountered the young bounty hunter Boba Fett among the ruins of Dooku's headquarters.[3]

Under the alias of Teff, Fett joined the group as an orphan to receive food and shelter once CT-4/619 and the group had completed their mission. B2 super battle droids opened fire on CT-4/619 and the squad, forcing them to take shelter behind an excavation rig. The squad's number down to three plus Fett, CT-4/619 and the rest opened fire from the cover of the excavation rig, but were heavily outnumbered. Master Beti soon arrived, drawing the droids' attention from the group to the Jedi, allowing them to open fire freely without retaliation. With the combined force of Jedi and clones, the droids were soon destroyed. CT-4/619 led the orphan to a LAAT/i gunship where he took from Fett the blaster he had used to defend himself in the lightfight moments before.[3]

Climbing into the cockpit, CT-4/619 waited for fellow trooper CT-5/501 before piloting the gunship to the Acclamator-class assault ship Candaserri, waiting in Raxus Prime's orbit. Before taking off, CT-4/619 informed Master Beti via a viewscreen that he had picked up a orphan while on the mission. With CT-5/501 on board as the other pilot, CT-4/619 piloted the gunship away from the surface. As the gunship rose, a Vulture Droid attacked the gunship, but the rear cannon on the LAAT/i destroyed the fighter with a barrage of fire. CT-4/619 answered Fett's questions about the Candasserri as they neared the Acclamator, and proceeded to dock the gunship in one of its hangars, taking the orphan to Jedi Glynn-Beti and her Padawan Ulu Ulix before seeing to his duties in the hangar. The Candaserri traveled to the Gas giant Bespin via hyperspace, where the ship's crew planned to offload the orphans it has aquired from numerous star systems. Upon arrival, CT-4/619 de-militerized the lander that would take the orphans down by painting out all military related markings on the craft, as Bespin wanted no signs of war. While de-militerizing the lander, CT-4/619 once again met Fett before the orphan was transported to Cloud City.[3]

Personality and traits

"Remember me?"
"Not really, should I?"
―Boba Fett again meets CT-4/619 before departing for Cloud City.[src]

CT-4/619 was a trooper who followed protocol and instructions thoroughly, and was able to hold his ground in a firefight even though vastly outnumbered. Upon meeting Fett before the orphan departed for Cloud City, CT-4/619 did not remember the orphan whose life he had saved.[3] As a clone of Jango Fett, CT-4/619 stood 1.83 meters high and had the basic look of Jango Fett.[1]

Behind the scenes

CT-4/619 first appeared in the novel Boba Fett: Crossfire, written by Terry Bisson and released on November 1, 2002. CT-4/619 later received an entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, an encyclopedia published by Del Rey in 2008.
