Caar Damask was a Force-sensitive male Muun who worked for the InterGalactic Banking Clan as middle ranking executive and administrator of Mygeeto, later as director of the treasury branch, and finally as Co-Chair and Chairman, during the 9th century of the Great Peace of the Republic period.[2] Caar Damask was a scion of the wealthy and influential Damask clan; he was the son of Hego of the Damask clan, and the father of Hego Damask, who was named after his grandfather and became the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Plagueis.[1]

  2. In Darth Plagueis, Hego Damask tells Palpatine, in 65 BBY, that he would be "well over one hundred" in Human years (p. 117), which is contradicted in The Tenebrous Way, where it is implied that Plagueis is at the very least two decades younger than that (Star Wars Insider 130, p. 26). From the placement of Hego's childhood in relation to his father's activities, it can be inferred that Caar Damask lived sometime between 200 and 67 BBY.
