Caar Damask was a Force-sensitive male Muun who worked for the InterGalactic Banking Clan as middle ranking executive and administrator of Mygeeto, later as director of the treasury branch, and finally as Co-Chair and Chairman, during the 9th century of the Great Peace of the Republic period.[2] Caar Damask was a scion of the wealthy and influential Damask clan; he was the son of Hego of the Damask clan, and the father of Hego Damask II.[1]

From the placement of Hego's childhood in relation to his father's activities, it can be inferred that Caar Damask lived sometime between 200 and 67 BBY.
