Cadrath was a TIE pilot in the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War. He was stationed on a corvette shortly before 3 ABY and was assigned as the first wingmate of rookie pilot Maarek Stele, teaching Stele how to properly check his flight suit prior to launch. While conducting a patrol, the Imperial pilots came across a freighter running weapons for the Alliance to Restore the Republic. A squadron of Rebel shuttles moved to engage the Imperials, but Cadrath and Stele helped to defeat the Rebels.
