Calarantrum

Calarantrum was a thick orange or blue root that was used to add a touch of piquancy to bantha rump broth. Chef Gormaanda provided instructional holovids including tips on how to properly use this food additive for various meals. Gormaanda also used calarantrum seeds for her Glowblue Noodles and Chav dish.
Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, the Wookiee Mallatobuck used liberal helpings of calarantrum root when preparing a special Life Day "bantha surprise" dinner for her husband, Chewbacca.
