"Cale" was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. During the conflict, Cale was posted aboard the Venator-class Star Destroyer Tempestuous. The Star Destroyer housed a prison that contained various wanted bounty hunters and after the Iktotchi bounty hunter Volan Das was captured by the Republic while attacking a hypermatter facility, he was was escorted to a cell aboard the Tempestuous by Cale and the trooper Reed. However, moments later Das and the prisoner Arlain Zee escaped from their cells, and the pair attacked and incapacitated Cale and Reed. Das and Zee then stole the troopers' armor and donned it themselves.
