A caltrop field was a field of large spikes in the ground on the planet Geonosis.

During the Second Battle of Geonosis, Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi was forced to use his lightsaber to cut through several Geonosian caltrops to allow his one surviving All Terrain Tactical Enforcer to proceed to the landing zone where the three Generals commanding the attack were to rendezvous.
