A camouflage net, also known as a camo net or camo-netting, was a piece of equipment used for concealment.[1][2]
Characteristics[]
Camouflage netting was an advanced netting that incorporated both light-bending technology and metallic thread jammers, concealing objects under the netting both visually and from sensor scans.[1] Camouflage netting came in a small backpack, and a single individual could fully deploy the netting in about a minute; once deployed, an internal power cell could power the netting for a full month before needing a recharge.[1] On activation, camouflage netting would alter its pattern, smoothing and blending into surrounding terrain.[1] Other types of nets had a photosensitive surface that could capture, then display, an image - a user would spread such a net on the ground and photograph it before deploying the net.[2]
