Candra Kitai was a female Human Force-sensitive born into the Lost Tribe of Sith on Kesh. She achieved the rank of High Lord, earning her a seat on the Tribe's ruling Circle of Lords. She also gave birth to a daughter, Orielle, who became a Sith Saber. In 3,960 BBY, Kitai attended a rake-riding event in the Korsinata with her daughter. During the event, the uvak wrangler representing their family, Campion Dey, attacked Grand Lord Lillia Venn. During the ensuing confusion, Dey was killed, along with the High Lords Dernas and Pallima. The Kitais immediately fell under suspicion for plotting against the Grand Lord, and Candra was soon captured, although Orielle managed to escape to the home of her friend, Jelph Marrian.
