During the Yuuzhan Vong War, Barab I was captured by the Yuuzhan Vong. A significant number of the native inhabitants, the Barabels, were captured and placed into a slaving ship. At this point, Jedi Knight Saba Sebatyne arrived in-system. Believing her people have been murdered, as revenge she saw bloated balloon like ship she never saw before escorted by coralskippers. She first took care of coralskippers then fired her three remaining proton torpedoes into the big Yuuzhan Vong starship, rupturing it. Barabel bodies spewed out into the vacuum of space.
