Caramm V was a planet^[2] in the Caramm system of the Mid Rim's Talcene sector. Its galactic grid coordinates were R-8.^[1] The dictator Ado Eemon subjugated the planet during the Clone Wars with a fleet of droid gunships, killing all threats to his rule and ravaging the world in the process.^[2] He allowed the forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems to utilize its enormous manufacturing facilities during the war and supplied them with the droid gunships.^[3]

Behind the scenesEdit

Caramm V was first mentioned in the 2005 reference book Revenge of the Sith: Incredible Cross-Sections, on a page detailing droid gunships. Later, the planet was mentioned in 2007's Star Wars: Complete Cross-Sections and in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, which was published in 2008. The Essential Atlas Online Companion later established the exact location of Caramm V.
