The Cargo Track race was a swoop competition in the city of Bartyn's Landing, in Lamaredd. Competitors raced around the Center Sphere District. Although the race was illegal, the Security Chief's Second Grubber Vapps took part on it, racing on "Rudy," and commonly winning. Vapps tried to keep this a secret for Security Chief Mix Liddell; Liddell discovered it, but he said nothing to Vapps. Once a year, however, there was one approved, legal—although still dangerous—race, the Cargo Track 3000.
