Eye-flower seaweed was a carnivorous species of plant native to the oceans of Hapes. It would grab its prey with its tentacles and then suffocate it via constriction. In 24 ABY, a patch of eye-flower seaweed nearly took the lives of Jedi trainee Tenel Ka and her companions after their wavespeeder was sabotaged.
